Vane is an evidence workspace for organizing venture decisions. We take access controls seriously, but Vane is not a certified security or compliance product.
Workspace access
Workspace data is served through authenticated routes and scoped to the signed-in account. Workspace writes also check that requests come from the same site.
Use care with sensitive information
Use participant codes instead of names and collect only what you need. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health records, or other sensitive personal information. For regulated or confidential work, consult an appropriate professional before using Vane.
Prototype status
Vane is evolving. This page describes current product behavior and practical guidance; it is not a security certification, compliance statement, or guarantee that a workspace is suitable for every type of data.
